Les vétérans ont la cote cette semaine en matière de nouveautés musicales : David Bowie nous propose un premier album en 10 ans, alors qu’Eric Clapton lance un nouveau disque et Dave Grohl nous dévoile le fruit de ses expérimentations avec divers artistes invités (dont Paul McCartney) sur Sound City – Real to Reel.
Du côté local, notons le premier album country-folk d’Anik Bérubé (sous la supervision de Dany Placard), ainsi qu’un EP carte-de-visite du projet AroarA (avec l’ex- Broken Social Scene Andrew Whiteman et sa femme Ariel Engle) et un nouvel album pour le band stoner-rock psychédélique francophone de Québec, Les Indiens.
L’éclaté Devendra Banhart rapplique aussi, tout comme Biffy Clyro, Jason Crabb, Pete Swanson et Pickwick.
